Five Questions About Abortion Pill Reversal and Their Answers

If you have taken the first dose of the Abortion Pill and are regretting your decision, it may not be too late!

The Abortion Pill is a two-step regimen used to have an abortion within the first seven weeks of pregnancy.  The Abortion Pill consists of two medications, oral mifepristone (also known as Mifeprex) and oral misoprostol (also known as Cytotec). The medications are taken within 24 hours of each other.

The Abortion Pill Reversal is a treatment used by licensed physicians across the country to save pregnancies after ONLY the first medication of the Abortion Pill (mifepristone/Mifeprex) has been taken.

The Abortion Pill Reversal uses progesterone to stop the effects of mifepristone/Mifeprex. It is not a guarantee but it can give you and your baby a 3 out of 5 chance (64-66% chance) to see the pregnancy through.
